The program begins by explaining the main biblical argument against Socialism: “Thou shalt not steal” – God-given property rights. I then explain some of the motivations behind socialism, (1) animosity toward God’s ownership – Matthew 21:33, (2) job security for the ruling bureaucratic class, (3) public greed for entitlements, (4) public deception by Socialism’s claim to charity, and (5) irresponsibility – 1 Samuel 8. This is a deeper spiritual issue revealing itself in social economic policy.
