Program #256 “Black Lives Matter Examined” – 9/25/2016 – Synopsis

For the purpose of being prepared evangelists, Christians should be aware of the various groups and movements that operate in the culture. In this program I discuss the Black Lives Matter organization founded by three homosexual woman. Yes, their moral confusion over gender also carries over into their misdiagnoses of inner city turmoil. Like the Zealots in Jesus’ day, there are always groups that wrongly assess causes and cures.

The error of the BLM movement is a wrong emphasis. False teachers may address some truths, but they spread error by inverting the hierarchy of those truths. I explain how the Bible wants us to view and address the problem in our inner cities, such as, “Who is there to harm you if you prove zealous for what is good?” (1 Peter 3:13); “Make sure that none of you suffer as a murderer, or thief, or evildoer” (1 Peter 4:15); “Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good” (Romans
12:21).
