Program #220 – Surrendering the War on Drugs – 1/17/2015 – Synopsis

Another evil I would like us to consider is the increasing drug problem in America
(both legal and illegal drugs). Drugs are what a people turn to when they abandon God. Something has to fill the emptiness, soothe the conscience, and blind the mind. I describe three stages to debauchery: (1) a generation turning to drugs and alcohol (the 1960s), (2) a society awakening to the problem and declaring a war on drugs (1970s-90s), and (3) a society surrendering the war and embracing drugs. A new generation has arisen that sees nothing wrong with mind altering drugs. In the remainder of the program, I discuss the new legal and political climate of drug usage. This is one more sign that the end is near.
