Program #215 “Citizens of the Kingdom – 12/13/2015 – Synopsis

In preparation for our remembrance of Jesus’ birth, let’s remember the Messianic Kingdom message. Jesus Christ came into this world to set up His eternal, righteous Kingdom populated with men made holy through the atoning work of Christ and the regeneration of the Holy Spirit. The Christmas prophecy emphasizes the Kingdom: “A child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; and the government will rest on His shoulders… there will be no end to the increase of His government” (Isaiah 9:6).

– “Our citizenship is in Heaven.”

Christians often fail to read the Bible with a Kingdom (God’s country) frame of mind. Let’s remember to include the message of the Kingdom in our witness during this Christmas season.
