#107 The ACA Train Wreck

Synopsis: Program #107 – 11/17/2013 “The ACA Train Wreck”

It is time to do another program on Obama Care, but why keep beating a dead horse? Because it is not dead yet! I begin with a review of the rollout debacle interspersed with some economic explanations as to why Obama Care will not work. Namely, it is the “Unaffordable” Care Act.

Since we are entering the Thanksgiving season, I share the hard lessons learned by William Bradford and the Plymouth Colony in their three-year experiment with Socialism. The bottom line is that Socialism never works because it is a violation of God’s principles for personal accountability and responsibility. If a nation follows God’s principles, it will be like a tree planted by rivers of water; if it doesn’t, it will be like the chaff which the wind drives away (Psalm 1).

I make some predictions about the future of health care in America, and it doesn’t look good. Americans are giving an inordinate attention to health care rather than turning to God. It is a godless nation’s attempt to find longer life and security in medicine. God specializes in cursing those who trust in mankind and whose hearts turn away from the Lord (Jeremiah 17:5).
