#216 The Reception of the Kingdom
Abridged Radio Program
Program #216 “The Reception of the Kingdom” – 12/20/2015 – Synopsis
Jesus arrived to set up His everlasting Kingdom, and the predominant prophetic emphasis was the righteousness of this Kingdom. It will be a highway of holiness and nothing unclean will travel on it (Isaiah 35:8). If it has been a while since you last looked at these prophecies, you need to see them afresh.
Because Jesus was bringing in a Kingdom of righteousness, this became the point of contention. The division was between those who wanted a kingdom of righteousness and those who wanted a kingdom of their own sinful ambitions. Nothing has changed in the battle of the ages.
At Jesus’ trial, it is no wonder that the people cried out for Barabbas, But this Jesus, “crucify!”
