You would think bells would be ringing and the peasants dancing in the streets with the announcement of tax cuts for Christmas. But no! The Statists, the Socialists, the Left Leaning Media, the Herods and the Ebenezer Scrooges of the world think that the government’s taking less of your money is the end of civilization. Such is the reaction of those who get their livelihood and security from large government.

Today’s program covers some Biblical insights concerning taxes. As a foundational principle, taxes have to be based on a transcendent, God-centered morality. Otherwise, if taxes are based on the pragmatism of government need, the government will find reason to need more right up to your last penny. If 10 percent was good enough for God, it should be good enough for government.
